Summer Library Challenge: Performing Arts Series - David Darwin

 David Darwin will wow you with his juggling and sideshow comedy.  Come ready to be entertained!

Thursday, July 25 at 2:00 pm

Dave's act will thrill you with whip cracking, plate spinning, lasso, ball spinning, unicycling and more! And be prepared to laugh yourself out of your seat as Dave juggles, dances and sings with both legs behind his head in an act that earned him an appearance on NBC's "America's Got Talent". 

Teen Writing Workshop:creative writing

Writing can be an awesome form of self expression. This two-session writing workshop for teens will help unleash that creativity, even if you are a beginner with little experience. The classes will explore various forms of fiction and non-fiction and will include some writing in and out of class. If you are shy about expressing yourself, bring a friend.

Classes begin at 11 a.m. - Monday, August 19 and 26 at 11 AM.

Online Registration is required and seats are limited to 15 teens.

The instructor for the writing workshops will be Georgetown resident, Rae Tyson. He has been a professional writer for over 30 years. Tyson, a former public school educator, is currently teaching writing classes at the University of Delaware.

Teen Volunteers: Teens, ages 14 and up, are invited to fulfill their volunteer needs with us.  Please stop by the library to pick up an application.  You will need parental permission.
