Library Fundraising Events
The Friends of the Georgetown Public Library hold several fundraising events each year:
- The Brick Club is $125 for an honor or memorial brick to be placed on the library walkway. Forms are available at the library.
- The 15 Annual 5k race/walk will be held on June 15, 2018. Runners and walkers pay an entry fee. If you pre-register for the race by June 14, the fee is $22. Day of Race registration is $25. The race fee is $10 for children 12 years and younger. Forms wil be available at the library or register online at the Seashore Striders website. Business sponsorships are also available for the race.
- Book sales are held twice a year. The Fall Book Sale will be October 10-13, 2018. On Wednesday evening the book sale is open to current Friends members only. On Thursday, Friday, and Saturday the book sale will be open to everyone during library hours.
- The Fall Gala and Auction will be held on November 3, 2018. There will be a Live and Silent Auction, delicious food, and lots of fun!
