- The bookmobile has had some mechanical problems and is not able to make its scheduled stops at this time. Remember that your library card is valid at all the libraries in Sussex and Kent counties including the Del-Tech campus libraries. You can return and check out items at all libraries.
- July 29 1:30 p.m. Children's Summer Reading Program " Magic Pots and Recycled Bottles" Kathleen Jacobs. The program will be held in the upperstairs meeting room at the new library. Since the library is not open yet, the meeting room will be open just for this program.
- August 4th at 4 p.m. Grand Opening the new Georgetown Public Library. Light Refreshments will be served. Please RSVP to 245-6602.
- August 5 10:30 a.m. "Pirate Sails & Mermaid Tales" by Michael Forestieri, storyteller. Fun for all ages.
- August 11 10 a.m. Book Club Discussion Group. The book to be discussed is "One Thousand White Women: the journals of May Dodd" by Jim Fergus.
- August 12 10:30 a.m. "Robin Hood" by the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre.
- August 19 10:30 a.m. Closing awards program for summer reading participants and their parents.
